Nice breakfast terrace overlooking the bird park made for a pleasant morning. Spacious room offered a decent amount of comfort, especially for a quick getaway.

Water pressure in the bathroom disappoints if you’re looking for a powerful shower. Many tree-covered parking spots lead to potential droppings on your vehicle, which is less than ideal. Some rooms lack air-conditioning, making them uncomfortable during warmer nights. Beds are decent, but sound from the adjacent bird park can ruin your sleep when they start their morning routine.

The hotel offers generous free parking and a beautifully maintained bird park which enhances the experience. The restaurant serves delicious food at reasonable prices, though room service can be tricky with a limited menu. the bathrooms could use some updating, but the staff is very accommodating.

So unexpected! The rooms were super clean and spacious. We had a fab view of the bird park. Had breakfast on the terrace, just gorgeous! One night, the birds went a bit wild, which was kinda funny. Wish they had a spa, tho. Perfect place for a chill getaway.

staying at van der valk hotel was a great experience. Access to the bird park added a fun twist to our stay. it was right next door! our room was spacious, clean, and comfy. we also loved the new gym in the basement. breakfast had a fantastic buffet with plenty of options.
